Not sure what you need to do to vote in November?  Here’s what you need to know…

For Pennsylvania:

To vote in this November’s election, you must be registered.  Registration forms are available at your county election office, or may be downloaded at www.votespa.com
To be eligible to vote, you must be:
  • 18 years old by election day (Nov. 6)
  • A citizen of the United States at least one month prior to the election
  • A resident of Pennsylvania and your election district for at least 30 days prior to the election
Registration deadline is Oct. 9
Beginning with this November’s election, voters must show a government issued photo ID at the polling place.

For New Jersey:

To register to vote, go to your Municipal Clerk or head to http://www.nj.gov/state/elections/voting-information.html.

  • The deadline to register is 21 days before the election.
  • This year it is October 16th.

If you are voting by mail, head to http://www.nj.gov/state/elections/voting-information-vote-by-mail.html

  • Reminder: the application to vote by mail must be received by the County Clerk 7 days before the election.
