Temple Football Player Charged with Kidnapping

Temple University football player, Kamal Johnson is charged with attacking and kidnapping, his girlfriend.

On Thursday, a 21 year old woman told the Philly Police Department that Temple University football Junior Defensive End Kamal Johnson attacked her and held her against her will. She says it happened back on September 27th, but she waited to report it.

She claims Johnson came over, they argued and at one point he pushed her down two flights of stairs at her apartment complex on North 15th Street. He then refused to leave and wouldn’t let her go for over three hours.

Johnson turned himself in on Friday night  and was charged with several things, including simple assault and false imprisonment.  His bail, set at $25, 000. Johnson is from Willingboro, NJ.
